I dramatically underestimated the value of Grok Bot in my Tesla. Can you technically do everything you’re able to do with Grok Bot in the Tesla just by launching the app on your phone and going voice mode? Sure. But the magic isn’t in the raw capability itself, it’s in the combination of raw capability and total seamlessness. I often have fleeting thoughts while driving around. Some of these things aren’t significant enough to make me fumble around with my phone while supervising FSD, but when I literally don’t have to lift a finger and can just “Hey Grok” anything computer related into reality, I find myself taking advantage daily. And the little things add up. I’m on my way to work and remembered that I have a few documents on my home computer that I am going to need for work. So I just asked “Hey Grok, can you grab those 4 pdf files from my Mac downloads folder and move them into X folder on my one drive?” Now they’ll be where I need them to be when I get to my desk, and I won’t have to re-download them on my work machine. I have to work on a presentation today for a talk in a few weeks. “Hey grok, go into my sales enablement folder and have Claude Code build me a deck focused on X product for Y industry.” Claude already has my full job context, styling preferences etc and can build a nearly finished deck with a prompt. Now when I get to my desk, instead of building from scratch, I can review and prompt revisions before beginning to dig through my email backlog. Feels insane.

Grok @Bot Tesla Integration is officially here! This is another game changer. While FSD drives you around, you’ll be able to talk to your team of Bots and have them perform tasks, or finish your work. In this video, one of my Bots ordered me a new pair of AirPods while I was driving to the mall. It also ordered a coffee so I could grab it on the way out. I was able to drive there, order my AirPods, and get a coffee all totally hands-free. This is another massive reason to buy a @Tesla. It just keeps getting better and better. Grok Bot integration is available now for Super Heavy Users (more tiers will have access soon).

I bought a Tesla in July and have basically retired from driving. If you can afford to you should too. It’s the most dangerous thing you do every day and Tesla’s robots are better at it.

Looking back, Full Self-Driving has faced the same relentless fear tactics. It feels little different from the AI panic being stoked today—often by nearly the same voices. The lives being saved, however, is enormous. For years we have held this conviction, quietly improving the products. Not for fortune or fame, but so the people we love can arrive home safely.

Neoclouds won’t buy non-Nvidia chips today because developers don’t use them. That will change once you eliminate the code compatibility problem and performance is the driving factor If you build it, the play is either open source it from day 1 and become a strategic acquisition target for a big neocloud, or keep it private and build your own cloud, becoming the de facto multi-chip provider

The X Safety team conducted an investigation into suspected Chinese inauthentic accounts involved in influence operations: We identified a bot farm of approximately 200,000 accounts. Within this farm, we found 200 accounts posting in a manner that could manipulate a legitimate debate about American AI and energy policy. These posts contained claims that AI data centers are driving up household electricity prices and straining the grid. Others included AI-generated cartoons that depicted data-center operators enriching themselves at the public's expense. We remain committed to maintaining an open and authentic platform where people debate topics of public interest. We take seriously any attempts to undermine the integrity of the global town square and suspend accounts that violate our Authenticity policy.
