#GoProMISSION1# PRO Deep Dive—Part 5 of 6 🎥 You focus on shooting, the camera does the thinking. MISSION 1 PRO meets you where you are, letting you choose from 13 adaptive modes that read your environment + set everything for the shot. The specialized modes run on neural libraries built right into the camera, handling noise reduction alongside face + body detection on the fly with no phone or post required. Powered by the 1-inch sensor's Quad Bayer architecture, Low Light Mode pulls in more light + holds detail across highlights + shadows, so dim scenes look natural, not noisy or riddled with AI artifacts. Dive Mode auto-corrects color + tunes stabilization the moment you drop below the surface, so underwater footage stays true-to-life instead of washed-out blue. Subject Tracking keeps you locked in to the center of the frame as you move—just hit record and let it follow. And when you want to take the reins, the same camera opens up full pro control: 10-bit color, GP-Log2 with LUTs, HLG HDR, real-time readouts for ISO, shutter + white balance, + Timecode Sync to line up every angle in the edit. Point + shoot when you want to move fast, take full manual control when the shot calls for it. Shop MISSION 1 PRO at or at your local retailer 🛒 #GoPro# #Cinematic# #Videography#

he held world records, the fastest finswimmer alive, and the day it counted he swam the wrong direction. down into a sunken bus, in cold sewage he could not see through, pulling strangers up one at a time until the lake took the lungs that made him a champion… september 16, 1976. a trolleybus carrying around ninety-two people went off a dam near yerevan and dropped into the reservoir, sinking about ten meters down, twenty-five meters from shore. shavarsh karapetyan had just finished a 20 km training run with his brother when he watched it go under. he swam out, went down, and kicked the rear window in with his feet. the water was near black. he worked by touch, diving to the bottom again and again, bringing one body up each trip and handing it to the boat. he pulled up close to forty-six people. twenty of them lived. the reservoir was fouled with sewage. the glass cuts and the filthy water in his chest turned into blood poisoning and pneumonia, and he spent about forty-five days in a hospital bed. when he came out the lungs that had made him the fastest swimmer on earth were scarred for good. he was twenty-three, and his career was finished. here is the part that stayed underwater longer than any of them. for about six years the state said almost nothing. no headline, no ceremony worth the name. only in 1982 did a newspaper finally print what happened at the lake, and then the mail came, tens of thousands of letters from people who had never been told. there is a minor planet out past mars now, 3027 shavarsh, named for a man his own country could not be bothered to mention for six years. in 1985 he passed a burning sports complex in yerevan and went in again, and came out burned. twenty people walked off that shore alive. the man who put them there lost the lungs that made him the fastest swimmer on earth, and waited six years for anyone to say it out loud.

This is a mantis shrimp. It may look small, but it delivers one of the fastest and most powerful strikes in the animal kingdom. Its punch is so fast it creates shock waves underwater and can crack shells that would stop most predators. Sometimes reality is more unbelievable than science fiction. What animal fact completely blew your mind the first time you learned it?

Elon Musk reveals the environmentalist viewpoint he says has become total madness "There are 8 billion people on Earth and it would be better if there were none. I'm like, 'hey buddy, you can start with yourself. See if you really want to make a difference'" "That's like a crazy viewpoint. That's like literally saying, let's genocide humanity. How can you say that with a straight face? That sounds like total madness" "In the limit of environmentalism, it becomes like an ingrown toenail. A toenail's fine, but not if it's warped and ingrown. It's just gone too far" "Humanity is not a blight on the face of the Earth" "Even with climate change, life on Earth will still continue. The calamities Earth has suffered where life continued, gigantic meteorite impacts, super volcanoes, continents drifting all over the place" "There've been times in Earth's past where it's been like a total snowball or absolutely sweltering hot. We had many extinction events, but life continued" "We don't see the dinosaurs now, but they had a good run for 100 plus million years" "Even if there's catastrophic climate change, life continues. It just may not be life as we know it. It may not be humans, it'll be something else" "What we're talking about with climate change is not a threat to all life on Earth, but really maybe a threat to humans, a dislocation if low-lying countries end up underwater" "Over time we need to move to a sustainable energy economy. We can't just keep taking billions of tons of carbon from deep underground and putting it in the atmosphere and expect nothing will happen forever" "But we also don't need to be alarmist about it and super negative and massively disrupt people's lifestyles" "People can continue to live a normal life. They shouldn't feel guilty about being human or having a stake. It's fine"

🚨#BREAKING#: An 11-year-old boy in Kentucky is being hailed as a hero for RESCUING a man who was drowning and unconscious at the bottom of a pool. His name is Avory Woolery, he is ELEVEN years old. According to Avory, the adults around the pool weren't doing anything, so he put on his goggles, dove down, and pulled a grown man up out of the water. "No one was doing anything, so I put on my goggles. I went underwater. I grabbed him up. There was no way that I was going to let another man die today. He's a human being. He should be treated as such." WHAT AN ABSOLUTE HERO!!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
