holy opus 5... 🤯 At first I was VERY disapointed, the model is ridiculously slow and the output was not impressive. i was using it WRONG. fable 5 can take a shit prompt and give you gold, but it will also burn all your tokens. opus is the opposite. use loops, graphs, reviewers, orchestrators, and agents working in parallel. ( this subway surfers game took over 3 hours ) Your output will be 10x better. The crazy part is, even with all these agents working together I have PLENTY of usage left on my first claude plan. The skill ceiling is insanely high, if you put time into a good agentic engineering strategy you can achieve BETTER output than fable. Opus 5 is a true daily driver.

Troy's (2004) centerpiece is the inevitable duel between Achilles and Hector, Troy's greatest warrior. Brad Pitt and Eric Bana performed the meticulously choreographed fight themselves without using any stunt doubles, rehearsing for months until every move became instinctive before filming. In a 2004 interview, Pitt said about the accidental hits: "We made a deal with each other that we're just going to go for it. We decided that we would pay off for slight infractions 50 bucks and for major hits, if one of us clobbered the other, it would be 100 bucks." Bana later showed a faint scar on the right side of his nose. "I've got a little Brad Pitt scar here," he said. "It's called a full-fledged backhand fist to the face. Luckily for us it was probably about 85 percent through that fight sequence because it does dull your confidence." Asked how much he owed Bana after the six-day shoot, Pitt replied: "750."

Last week I got permission to drive again. First time in a year! Why? A year ago, I blacked out behind the wheel and crashed straight into another car. We had our three kids in the back (our youngest was 2 months old at the time), but thankfully everyone was okay. Turned out to be a form of epilepsy, so I wasn't allowed to drive for a year. (Which is super practical with 3 young kids 🙈 My wife drove me pretty much everywhere for a whole year ❤️) The thing is... Being allowed to drive and feeling safe are two different things. What if it ever happens again? Hopefully never, but there's no way to be 100% sure. So yesterday, we picked up our Tesla Model Y with Full Self Drive 🎉 I've followed the technology for years, mainly because I'm a nerd and think it's cool (after all, my business runs on AI from A-Z) 🤓 But after the accident, it stopped being just a fun tech feature. Sure, I still have to pay attention, but it's amazing how well it drives (better than some humans 😂). For us, it feels like an extra layer of protection. Funny how quickly technology can go from "that would be cool" to "I'm really glad this exists."

Open-source AI is catching up fast. At @raisesummit, @togethercompute said open models can be 10x–60x more cost-effective than closed models—and questioned the evidence they're a major security threat.

#Falcons# owner Arthur Blank was asked about the USA potentially hosting the World Cup again in 2038: “I haven’t heard anything officially, but I’d love to be part of that. I’ll be 120 by then.” 😂😂

The memory supply-demand gap will keep widening through 2027. That is the real reason Apple is lobbying the White House to keep CXMT off the Entity List. ▌Start with my latest industry checks: The pressure on Apple has shifted from soaring memory costs to a widening supply gap. 1. Of the memory capacity allocated to consumer electronics in 2026, an estimated 15–20% is expected to shift to data centers in 2027, and that share could grow. 2. Due to tight memory (LPDDR) supply, Apple's actual pull-in volume of A20 chips in 2H26–1Q27 could be 10–20% below its original target (though part of that may reflect Apple’s own overbooking). ▌CXMT states in its IPO prospectus that its capacity is far below domestic demand. Given the persistent global memory imbalance, even if Apple’s lobbying succeeds and it buys DRAM from CXMT, that would not materially lower costs or fill the supply gap. Still, with the imbalance widening, Apple has every reason to secure an additional source. ▌This also explains why Apple is being more proactive this time than it was when it evaluated YMTC in 2022. YMTC was mainly about lowering NAND costs; CXMT is about managing DRAM supply risk. ▌Tim Cook is one of the few tech leaders who can still navigate both Washington and Beijing, so this is better handled before he steps down as CEO. Even if the effort goes nowhere, the media coverage can still leave the market with the impression that Apple tried but was constrained by U.S. policy. That may help ease frustration over price hikes and longer delivery times.

Anthropic engineer: "At Antropic, >80% of our engineers are building with self-improving loops. in 3-6 months, it will be 100%. my agentic loops can run for hours without spending hundreds of $$$." in 30-minute podcast, an Antropic engineer shows how to build the right spec for an agentic loop. Loop + plan + PRDs + spec + markdown - that’s the secret stack. Worth more than a $500 agentic course on the internet. Watch it now, then read how quants are building trading loops from scratch.

FOR 40 YEARS YOU LAUNCHED APPS. Click. Type. Wait. NVIDIA and Microsoft just ended that era. RTX Spark is a 1-petaflop superchip built into a laptop thin enough to be 14mm and light enough to be 3 pounds. Not a data center. Not a cloud subscription. A laptop that runs 120-billion-parameter models with 1 million token context locally, privately, and offline. Hermes Agent and OpenClaw are already building native Windows apps for it. Adobe is rearchitecting Photoshop and Premiere from the ground up for it. Jensen Huang called it the new PC. 128GB unified memory. Full Blackwell GPU. All-day battery. The PC just stopped being a tool. It became a teammate. Available this fall from ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface, and MSI. Follow @neil_xbt for more AI and hardware intelligence.
