Big News! 📣 @Ripple is now contributing high-confidence DPRK threat data through Crypto ISAC helping security teams move from awareness to action. The reality is North Korean threat actors aren’t just attacking crypto, they’re infiltrating it. The latest wave of attacks is shifting away from traditional exploits and toward something harder to detect: trusted access gained through social engineering, recruitment, and long-term deception. In our new blog with Ripple, we break down: - How these campaigns operate “from the inside out” - Why traditional indicators aren’t enough to catch them - And how shared, enriched threat intelligence is changing the equation Because in this environment, no single company can see the full picture alone. New issue of Burn Notice #5# 🔥 Two disclosure programs went dark in the last week. Zcash Community Grants closed its vulnerability bounty program, and THORChain is in an open dispute with a researcher over a retired one, both pointing at the volume of AI-generated reports. I know exactly what that volume does to a program, the days lost reading plausible nonsense to find the one real report underneath. The instinct to close the program is something I could understand but is never a valid response. The cost of finding a bug in old, forgotten code is dropping fast, because decompilation is good now and models are cheap, and the paid channel that routes an honest finding back to you is the part getting cut at the same moment. This was the week Aztec Connect lost $2.19M on a contract nobody could pause and Verus fell to a bridge-failure class that Wormhole and Nomad already paid for in 2022. You can read more about what happened in the last week of crypto security in the newest issue of Burn Notice down below.

Qubitor $QBT is a Base-launched post-quantum security ecosystem built around the next migration in crypto security. CA: 0x24D621B1f5f1CF295313C88dC331012140e52D54 The first focus is the account and operations layer: wallets, smart accounts, bridge controls, admin keys, sequencer/operator keys, governance, and upgrade authority. Qubitor Network is developing a post-quantum execution layer track with PQ-native accounts, ML-DSA verification, and no-default-EOA architecture. Quanta Wallet is the official wallet/account layer owned and maintained by Qubitor, built for smart accounts, safer key management, hybrid signing paths, recovery, and future post-quantum upgrades. Quantum resistance is not a single switch. It is a full-stack migration. Liquidity Lock: - Liquidity is locked for 365 days and will be extended 3 months before unlock. Qubitor Foundation: - 3.33% supply locked for 3 months. This allocation is reserved for Tier 1 CEX listing preparation. - 3.33% supply locked for 6 months. This allocation is reserved for ecosystem expansion after launch. Qubitor's direction goes beyond the first market phase, with focus on account-layer security, stronger wallet infrastructure, safer signer models, recovery systems, key rotation, and future post-quantum readiness. This work needs room to grow properly. It involves development, testing, integrations, audits, infrastructure support, and long-term planning. - 3.33% supply locked for 1 year. This is Qubitor's long-term strategic reserve. It is reserved for bigger growth phases such as major partnerships, exchange expansion, market-making support, ecosystem incentives, audits, product development, wallet infrastructure, marketing, grants, and future integrations. The lock keeps this allocation out of early circulation while giving Qubitor room to support larger opportunities when the ecosystem is ready.

Traditional security workflows assume you have time. An alert fires. A team investigates. A response follows. That order breaks down in crypto. Security requires a different operating model. One that prioritizes fast, automated response first, and detailed investigation second.
