Helldivers 2 is set to receive major “core” improvements to the Galactic War this summer, according to an update from Arrowhead Game Studios. The studio has expanded its team focused on meta-progression and the Galactic War, acknowledging that the system needs more depth for long-term player engagement. >Major Orders will evolve into multi-week themed campaigns with branching outcomes based on community performance. >The Galactic War will become more reactive, with player actions directly influencing story developments, available planets, rewards, and even some gameplay systems. >Rewards will offer greater variety and meaning, including the return of stratagem unlocks earned through gameplay rather than warbonds alone. These will feel more distinctive and tied to collective progress. Additional updates will expand player progression overall, raising the level cap beyond 150 with new red stratagems, evolving ship systems, and ship modules.

One question I get a lot is can you see the stars differently from up in space. When we orbit on the night side of the planet, we get a view of the stars very much like being in a very dark place on Earth. And because of our orbital inclination, we get to see the stars of both the northern and southern hemisphere. I captured this shot of our galactic plane from one of the windows of the Crew Dragon Freedom that is docked to the zenith docking port.
