一个产品从工程师使用变成大众可用会发生非常多有意思的东西，这里非常推荐大家不要只做给你身边同类人用得上的工具，反而可以试试如何把这个工具变成甚至 70 岁的老爷爷也用得上的易用产品，非常有意思。 Mole 从单纯只能工程师能用的 Cli 变成易用的 Mac 桌面就发生了非常多有意思的事情，想分享给各位 Builder，期待有一些输入，这些内容从我历史和各种用户交流的邮件摘取。 第一位是一个来自英国的快70岁的老爷爷，他说“我犯了一个老年时刻，把 Mole 又买了一遍，它太好用了，第二笔钱就当做送你，谢谢这个出色的工具，帮我省下了比 cleanmymac 多得多的英镑”，然后我非常感激建议退款或者把多的授权送人，他去问了一圈，第二天回我 “我邻居没人用 Mac，我 Bluesky 上的关注者也没有。这一轮算我请你。”，这个过程让我感觉必须要把产品做得更好更友好，才对得起这份信任！ 第二位是一个美国的大哥，很有意思，纠正了我一个产品上对于地区习惯错误的想法，先是温度单位："美国人在所有技术相关的场景都用摄氏度，只有天气和体温例外。我装上 Mole 看到 110，吓了一跳。Apple 给美国人看的规格也是摄氏度，fastfetch、neofetch 在美式系统上默认也是摄氏度。建议保留华氏切换，但所有地区默认摄氏度。" 我之前一直错误以为对方用华氏，原来是我错误的观念，后面给改成默认摄制可选华氏，体验更好。很多时候你的不同地区的用户可以帮你改进你的产品很多地方。 因为他想买多台，我给他生成了一个5台32刀的价格，然后我改完之后他又追了一封谈定价："$32 买 5 台，$32 这个数字在美国人耳朵里很怪。几乎所有软件定价都以 9 或 5 结尾。$32 读起来不像是刻意定的价，像是从别的货币换算过来的，或者根本没经过思考。让一个普通 Mac 用户掏钱买一个要信任它删你文件的软件，本来门槛就比一般软件高。如果同时还让人觉得'外来'、觉得细节没打磨，你等于在给自己加难度。（我说外来不是指反华，而是人们希望感觉到作者理解他们。）我建议你把 $32 提到 $39，然后直接对标 CleanMyMac 一年的订阅费但给 5 个激活位。我不是营销专家，但如果你想听，我还有一些美国视角的想法。"，这个也给我非常不一样的视角的输入，原来，你的价格数字也会影响用户的决策，非常感激他！ 第三位，有一位国外用户的无障碍反馈，也让我对无障碍本身有更深的理解，mole 开始就做了无障碍，支持视觉有障碍的朋友使用，但是其实还有其他的用户可能有特殊场景诉求，他说 "看起来是个很不错的 App。可惜我用不了，它似乎把深色模式写死了。我有轻度视力障碍，深色背景上的白字对我非常难读。我系统设成浅色，也只用浅色模式的 App。如果哪天你把明暗模式做成可配置的（或者更好，跟随系统设置），我会再回来看看 Mole。" ，这个让我有动力以后给Mole 加上浅色兼容了。 第四位，一位德国拜罗伊特大学讲师，申请教育授权，说"不仅是对我个人的支持，也是一种有意义的教育层面的支持”，让我感受到原来还有国外老师用我的产品，我需要以后考虑给到教育一些优惠，相互帮助的感觉。 第五位，一位匈牙利的医生，给了一个最真实的差评，"说实话，这个价格对一个免费应用也能做到的事情来说有点高了。" 这个对我一些不同国家以后产品定价很有有价值，用户不是抱怨，而是抱着帮我定位问题心态讨论。 还有非常多的用户给我反馈，以后再给大伙分享有意思的地方，或者这也是做产品过程中，和用户持续打磨产品，对方由衷想着帮你把他也喜欢的产品打磨到最好的心态，会让你持续有动力把产品做好最深，或许这也是做产品过程中我感觉最有意思的地方，你的用户非常友好、善良、真诚，让你感觉非常温暖！ 一定一定不要放弃和你的用户交流的机会尽情听他们吐槽和建议，可以给你很多帮助，也让你更懂你的用户。

Mole CLI v1.50 is here, named "Honest" 🪞 1. Clean leaves running apps alone and tells you what it left behind. 2. Uninstall finishes instead of exiting silently. 3. Failed installs name the directory at fault and the command that fixes it. 4. mo status shows purgeable space, the reason Finder and df never agree.

A French Mac creator, Arthur Brs, made a full walkthrough of the Mole Mac app on his own. No deal, no payment, he just used it and liked it. It's a better explanation of the app than my own landing page.

早上突然想到一个官网在五颗星球这一块的布局优化，立马爬起来开整，使用 Fable5 调整了不下10轮，搞一天终于终于满意了，一解之前的细节不爽，让全球用户体验到和 Clean My Mac 这类软件不太一样的东方美学。

最近看到不少关于独立开发者的思考内容，想着就 Mole 从开源 Cli 到 Mac 付费软件这个过程来给大伙聊一聊我的思考和做的哪些事情是有效的，希望可以给大家一些帮助。 1. 开始之前要多培养自己在产品工程师的能力，这个里面代码能力只占 30%，更重要是如何把自己的痛点和大部分用户痛点结合起来，产出一个方便易用的产品解决方案，同时懂得如何更好的推荐给你的用户，让他们发现多亏了有这个产品解决了我的一个大问题，也即产品工程师=用研+产品+工程师+运营+数据+商业这几类角色的综合体。 2. 接上条，AI 时代代码壁垒越来越小，更需要把控的是如何做到把 Token 刚好花费到解决用户问题上，然后把更多 Token 用在你的需求分析讨论、数据下钻挖掘问题、内容友好性易读上面，因为即使你是多个 250 刀的账号其实也不够用的，不介意多花 Token，但需要用到实处，Token 在我看来属于投资，但是投资也需要讲究收益。 3. 聊到需求把控，不做什么远比做什么要重要太多了，在我大一刚刚入门程序员时候，非常幸运看了不少讲工程师修炼的书籍，如无必要 勿增实体、至繁归于至简慢慢让我在生活、工作、代码中都保持这个习惯，讨厌繁琐和乱，喜欢漂亮简单、不要看说明书就可以用的东西。 4. 你完全不需要给你的产品憋大招，你需要尽量做到每周都有发布，每周都有Release，及时解决用户的问题，和用户形成人与人交流那种真实的活人世界的互动，非常重要，每次你的发布、更新、宣发其实都是一次非常好和用户沟通的机会，也让你的产品持续的可以让更多之前没有看到你之前消息的人了解到。 5. 聊到产品运营，尽量尽量少用AI话来让你和真实世界交流，推特是一个非常好的渠道，可以让你的好东西被很多人发现，只要好用，会有大量的朋友帮你宣传，但是千万不要做那种蓝勾互关以及互推的路，没有必要凑这种虚假繁荣的热闹，因为你的用户不在这里，产品运营一定有一个前提，是你的产品是漂亮的、精致的，让之前不知道的人第一次见到就很有兴趣来点击试用你的产品，而非快速刷走了。 6. 可能你会说“我”没有啥粉丝宣传没有用，其实不太对，但是也非常不建议大家抱着很深的功利心去把自己账号做上去，因为这样会让你焦虑，反而把你的号也当做一个品牌去建设，你自己就是这个品牌的本身，你的思考、想法、产品更新、见解、交流、评论都是在给你的自己品牌在加信任值，信任这个东西在当今虚假又繁荣的AI世界尤其重要，太太太说着非常牛逼，但是点进去感觉一般的东西已经把大量用户的预期拉低非常多，导致即使你有一个好产品，但是没有任何用户信任，依然还是得不到关注，这里可以做的非常长期，你在互联网上待多久，这个品牌其实就会活多久，是你生命周期最长的产品了。 7. 聊到用户信任，就一定要聊到真诚，我还是非常喜欢开源、喜欢非撕逼的友好网络环境，也很建议你的产品一开始就是全球化的或者说是出海的，也非常建议大家多发英文类的内容，你会发现世界很大，你的用户很广，你的用户会非常从一开始就信任你，以及力所能及帮助大家，绝大可能你帮助的人会成为你未来的用户，因为有过真实交情。 8. 尽量不要去花钱推广，但是可以靠自己多让你的好东西的用户中刚好也有博主，推特我感觉其实脉冲很高，但是时效一般，反而非常建议你有些东西可以发到 Youtube，这里的衰减度非常慢，你的产品只有够好，有人推荐，可以在上面火非常长时间，给你带来很大的收益。 9. 一定要学习数据分析，这个特别有用，从你的销量数据分维度分时间去分析，结合流量数据，结合用户评论，以及你和用户交流的所有内容，以及用户的退款原因，假如是开源产品，还有用户的所有issue，都是非常宝贵的数据资源，能够帮你发现特别多你不知道的问题，也能够帮助你做到更好，以及发现销售的漏斗，你才会知道如何更好优化。 10. 碎碎念手写有点啰嗦，假如你喜欢，也非常欢迎去 的官网看看，玩一玩 Mole 这个产品，说不定可以给你的产品建设带来一些输入。

Kami v1.12 is a quiet one. No new templates, no new looks, just a version you can trust more. It now plans a document before laying it out, changes only the part you asked to fix and leaves approved pages alone, tells you honestly what it checked and what it skipped, and never lets a failed build overwrite your last working PDF.

A Korean creator built a whole workflow around Mole. Codex runs it every morning at 9am and sends him a cleanup report. 332GB of worktree junk cleared, zero photos touched. The CLI is free and always will be. This Mole CLI release is almost all reliability work, on purpose. Refusals now explain themselves and print the fix. Dry run is fully dry. Stricter cleanup boundaries, hard deadlines on slow scans, Parallels VMs in disk analysis. Safer everywhere.

Someone made a Mole review and it genuinely made my day. Andy Hutchinson over at Mostly Mac ran the open-source CLI on his M2, cleared ~13GB, and after six months of daily use called it "no subscription, no bloat, no drama." That means a lot for something I started as a weekend shell script. Huge thanks, Andy. Mole CLI just passed 60K stars. It started as a few hundred lines of code I wrote by a pool in Sanya last October. Now: 55 releases, 112 contributors, 812 issues resolved. It also grew into Mole Mac, the pro version with a native GUI and much more. 4 aha moments from using it myself: 1. Got a notification that my AirPods were low on battery. AI suggested it while I was building battery health, and I shipped it. Works for any Bluetooth accessory. Helpful, never noisy. 2. I use Mole daily and it still found 1 TB to clean. Rust target folders add up fast. One scan, gone. 3. Keep Screen On now has 3 modes. Head out on a weekend, your AI coding agent keeps working, you steer it from your phone. 4. Your iPhone battery now shows next to your Mac. All your devices in one quiet dashboard. None of these were my idea. All came from early users, and now they help me every day.

I no longer use format conversion tools. I had originally planned to download HandBrake, but on a whim I sent it directly to my agent, and it quickly helped me solve the problem. This shows that in the future AI era, tools like this will actually have less and less of a market.
