Here's why that's a good thing.” They explain how predatory colleges have become and how by taking away the funding for these programs it’ll force schools to lower their prices and make college cheaper “When the government stops providing taxpayer-funded loans to these programs, it keeps students from making a bad investment, and it incentivizes colleges to either lower prices or reform these programs to make them better. The government shouldn't fund college programs that leave students worse off” “The point of a federal student loan program should be to help students access a quality education, not give money to literal clown colleges.” Honest reporting from the Wall Street Journal… who knew that was even possible There was a study done on colleges and colleges who had students with access to federal student loans and Pell grants had 78% higher prices than other schools that didn’t have those students So this means colleges are skyrocketing prices because federal loans will be given out to cover the costs.
