Originally, I didn’t want to comment publicly on all of the drama. However, once there were multiple lies and false or exaggerated accusations, I felt I had no choice but to clear my name and state the facts with evidence so that we can put this issue to rest. Regarding the issue with C Ye at Venetian — the post below includes a link to a video from Xuan Liu, who is very reputable in the poker community and was there with me at the time. She can confirm that the floor staff told us they had checked the surveillance footage, and that the amount of chips C Ye actually had at the end of the game was different from the amount she reported to us. People have asked what C Ye’s motivation could have been for misreporting. I can’t say for sure, but I do know that in the days leading up to June 7, she was on a huge downswing across private games, HCL, and baccarat — easily over $100K of her own money. We also later got in touch with someone at the Venetian, who checked their internal records for us and found a record related to the surveillance inquiry. The record shows that the report was reviewed on June 21 at approximately 11:03 PM, and there is an internal report number associated with it. I also have additional evidence supporting my account that Venetian security did in fact help me review the surveillance footage. However, I gave my word that this material would never be shared publicly, and I intend to honor that. That said, we are willing to share the original materials privately with well-respected and credible members of the poker community who genuinely want to review the evidence. If that applies to you, feel free to DM me. Because these materials contain internal Venetian information and involve staff who helped us, we will not post them publicly. Charles was at the table that day and can confirm two things: first, he had bought action in Hank; and second, Hank did in fact secretly take chips off the table. Charles is willing to speak publicly about what he personally knows and witnessed. Lastly, I want to make it clear that Ryan and HCL had no knowledge of me buying pieces of other players. I understand now that this can create a conflict of interest in certain games, but at the time, I sometimes bought action because I wanted to help younger players who might not otherwise have been able to play in those games. Going forward, I will not do it again. I’m not perfect. I’ve made some mistakes, but never out of a lack of integrity. Things get heated and words get thrown around when poker players are no longer welcome in or able to access games they want to play. Take the evidence below as you wish and decide for yourself. In effect, if you do the math, it will net out at half the dollar in API spend compared to the old Pro $200 plan. Now that it's said, let me explain why this is happening and why you will still get more work done than if you were on the Pro $200 subscription one month ago. (a) We didn't want to compromise in other ways and are committing to not reintroducing the 5h limit, so that you can fully use the weekly usage when you want. (b) On the subscription, we guarantee that over time you always get more work done and with an increasing level of quality. This means that you will continue to get more value per dollar spent as a result of models getting more efficient and us passing down the improvements in the form of API price reductions. (c) We don't want to put an incentive on ourselves to artificially inflate the API list prices to make it look like you are getting a lot (and workaround it through discounts, etc). Instead we want to continue to both rapidly reduce prices and increase capabilities of models on the API. This week we introduced GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna at 50% of their previous price. Over time, we see prices go low enough that it makes sense for most to buy usage as needed without there being a significant gap between what you get in a subscription and what you get in the API for a dollar spent. I’ve seen a couple of posts about this so wanted to demystify. Today, every Muse user gets a free computer in the cloud. It's a real computer, and we’ve designed the security architecture of the Muse Secure VM carefully so you and your Muse can do almost anything you could with a computer sitting under your desk while keeping you and the system safe from threats like prompt injection. We wrote about this at length in our security blog post – Activity in the “runtime cell”, which you share with your Muse is unfettered, but sensitive actions are all overseen by the Sentinel, which runs outside of that cell. Similarly, all sensitive secrets - like the passwords you enter into Muse’s secure credential storage - are also stored outside the runtime cell. The runtime cell gets its own root filesystem (including a full Ubuntu linux image) separate from the host filesystem where your other more sensitive data lives. Because it is isolated from the sensitive stuff that runs on the same box, this means that we can, and do, offer users full visibility and control over the files in the runtime cell. Just as you can when you install Linux on your home computer, you can poke around and see all the files that make the system work - both debian system files and the binaries and data files that implement the parts of Muse which run in the runtime cell. This was a very deliberate choice - your Muse Secure VM truly is your own computer in the cloud. You can install software in it, write and compile code, use the browser to surf the web: it is your own Linux box that you can operate as you choose with your Muse. Poking around in this computer doesn't give you any privileged access to Meta infrastructure, or to other people's data If I may geek out a little here for a second… As a kid I loved to take things apart to see how they worked.
