I dramatically underestimated the value of Grok Bot in my Tesla. Can you technically do everything you’re able to do with Grok Bot in the Tesla just by launching the app on your phone and going voice mode? Sure. But the magic isn’t in the raw capability itself, it’s in the combination of raw capability and total seamlessness. I often have fleeting thoughts while driving around. Some of these things aren’t significant enough to make me fumble around with my phone while supervising FSD, but when I literally don’t have to lift a finger and can just “Hey Grok” anything computer related into reality, I find myself taking advantage daily. And the little things add up. I’m on my way to work and remembered that I have a few documents on my home computer that I am going to need for work. So I just asked “Hey Grok, can you grab those 4 pdf files from my Mac downloads folder and move them into X folder on my one drive?” Now they’ll be where I need them to be when I get to my desk, and I won’t have to re-download them on my work machine. I have to work on a presentation today for a talk in a few weeks. “Hey grok, go into my sales enablement folder and have Claude Code build me a deck focused on X product for Y industry.” Claude already has my full job context, styling preferences etc and can build a nearly finished deck with a prompt. Now when I get to my desk, instead of building from scratch, I can review and prompt revisions before beginning to dig through my email backlog. Feels insane.

Many have asked me to give my 2 cents on the (newest) HCL controversy. Probably a bad idea, so I’ll do it anyway: I don’t know C Ye or Britney or any of the “newer” HCL regs. And I have no insider info on this dispute. But I do know a lil’ somethin’ somethin’ about Nik Airball and Ryan Feldman. In my opinion, this is all par for the course for them: I believe they will do and say whatever they need to protect their financial interests. If you haven’t read Beneath the Cards, I break it all down there. As I see it, Airball has long been committed to doing whatever it took to become a mainstay on HCL. Give him credit: mission accomplished. And I think Ryan did and said numerous things in an attempt to destroy my reputation the moment I publicly stated that something shady went down on his show. Four years and a bestselling book later, mission definitely not accomplished. Here’s the takeaway, as is sadly too often the case in the pokersphere: Follow the money. It will so often explain the why behind the actions of the less-savory characters in our industry. In short, if Britney is good for the game, I suspect Ryan and Airball will go to great lengths to protect her.

Girls from this industry distract a bunch of mentally unwell people from real crimes. They're brave, well-groomed, charismatic, and they always have to be interesting personalities. I think she annoys those who envy her.

But I get you guys, if I were a guy I'd dream of a girl like that myself. She's genuinely gorgeous and talented, she doesn't deserve to be just an object in your eyes, she deserves respect just like any other girl in the adult industry.

THORChain and Stolen Funds: The Industry Needs Answers After the $1.46B @Bybit_Official hack last year, nearly $1.2B in stolen funds was reportedly traced through @THORChain as the attackers moved assets across chains. Today, following another major security incident at @Bitget , we are once again observing Bitget Exploiter funds being sent into the THORChain for asset swaps and cross-chain transfers. The question is no longer: “Does THORChain know these funds are associated with hackers?” The attacker addresses have already been publicly flagged and are being actively tracked by exchanges, blockchain security/aml firms, and the wider crypto industry. The real question is: When a protocol is aware that funds originate from a publicly identified major hack, yet continues to facilitate large-scale cross-chain swaps, how should the industry view this under the banner of “decentralization”? Decentralization should not become a blanket excuse when dealing with known stolen funds. If, after every major crypto hack, attackers can continue using THORChain as a route to move funds from ETH → BTC, BNB → BTC, and across other chains, the industry needs to seriously ask: What responsibility should THORChain bear when handling known stolen funds? @GracyBitget @xiejiayinBitget @benbybit

Multiple buyer accounts all ship to one logistics center in Okayama Prefecture that won't answer questions. Export records show over 50 tons, roughly 100,000 volumes, shipped to the US since last year. No buyer has been identified. Separately, court documents confirmed Anthropic's "Project Panama" bought millions of books in the US, cut the spines off, scanned them, and shredded the originals. An internal memo said the goal was to "destructively scan all the books in the world." Similar operations have been reported across Europe. My Take Anthropic's US book operation came out in court filings earlier this year. Project Panama. Millions of books, cut the spines off, scanned, shredded. Their VP chose the codename so nobody outside the company would find out. That story broke and apparently the same operation just moved to Japan. Anonymous buyer accounts, a warehouse in Okayama that won't take questions, and 100,000 volumes of specialized academic texts that nobody buys to resell. I don't know how you build a trillion-dollar industry on material you had to acquire in secret through middlemen because you knew the public would object. Authors spent years on those books and now they're fed through a scanner and thrown away so a chatbot can sound smarter. If the data was free to use, they wouldn't need codenames and anonymous warehouses. The lawsuits over who owns this material have barely begun and I think the copyright exposure across the whole AI industry is enormous. Anthropic's internal memo said the goal was every book in the world, which describes the foundation of the product. Hedgie🤗
