Doc Rivers: "Doc? That's my name?"
Austin Rivers: "Tonight."
When @AustinRivers25 interviewed his dad last season 😅
Doc enters the @Hoophall this Saturday, 8/15 at 7pm/et on NBA TV and the NBA App!
Not a great month for hardware wallets.
Trezor disclosed a breach at its shipping provider affecting ~13.7K recent customers. ~11.7K had full name, email, phone and shipping address exposed. Trezor systems/private keys were not compromised. The leak directly links identities and physical addresses to known crypto holders, creating significant phishing, social-engineering and potential physical-security risk.
Hardware wallets are often considered "more secure" than software wallets. While I still think that is "generally true" in a few specific aspects, this incident reinforces an advantage of software self-custody wallets (such as Binance Web3 Wallet & Trust Wallet), without purchasing and shipping a physical device that links a user's identity and address to crypto ownership.
Not saying hardware wallets are "bad". Just different risk profiles. YZiLabs is an investor in many hardware wallets.
Security, privacy and convenience comes in many different shapes. The more we can educate our communities, the better.
We have some difficult news to share. Unfortunately, one of our shipping providers has experienced a data breach that exposed sensitive order data. This affects new customers in the US, UK, Sweden, Colombia, Brazil, Italy, and Portugal who received an order within the 90 days prior to August 8th, 2026.
The data exposed:
- Full names
- Shipping addresses
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
The incident affects 11,742 customers with full exposure (name, email, phone number, shipping address) and 1,947 customers with partial exposure (name, city, email). The breach is limited due to Trezor’s strict 90-day data storage policy (we were also able to negotiate the same terms with fulfillment partners, who follow the same policy).
All affected customers have been contacted separately by email.
Our systems and devices remain secure, but affected customers could experience an increase in phishing attempts.
NEVER enter your wallet backup on a website or share it with anyone, and only check for updates on official Trezor channels.
We are deeply sorry to the community and those affected.
We are investigating this situation and will post updates on our blog:

Mole CLI v1.50 is here, named "Honest" 🪞
1. Clean leaves running apps alone and tells you what it left behind.
2. Uninstall finishes instead of exiting silently.
3. Failed installs name the directory at fault and the command that fixes it.
4. mo status shows purgeable space, the reason Finder and df never agree.
