Our Atlas™ platform decodes movement intentions from EEG in real time and translates them into control of an on-screen cursor, similar to a motor implant without the surgery. Move the cursor forward and the wheelchair moves forward. Move it in any other direction and the chair follows.
The same platform can enable thought-controlled wheelchair mobility, full computer access for work, gaming, chess, and more, as well as prosthetic and robotic arm control. It represents an important step toward restoring mobility and independence for people with paralysis without requiring an implant.
We believe our systems will reach the capabilities of implanted interfaces by the end of this decade. Atlas™ will help many people explore and interact with the world once again!
