Grok 4.6 multimodal is a step change from Grok 4.5. It’s one of the under-discussed improvements, and I’ve been very impressed by it. My daily work includes reviewing lots of videos and understanding the context; Grok 4.6 improves the productivity of such workloads by at least 10x if not 100x. Such workflows may not be captured by common VLM benchmarks, but in my use cases it outperforms Gemini 3.5 and Gemma 4, which is considered the SOTA of VLMs in my opinion. Hats off to the multimodal teams—you did a great job.

The bottleneck in software development is increasingly feedback latency. Across product, design, engineering, and QA, every handoff adds latency and late feedback makes changes more expensive. The software factory model changes this: product, design, engineering, and QA operate in the same execution loop, with shared context and continuous validation. That means fewer handoffs, faster decisions, and a shorter path from idea to production. For years now, some hospitals and healthcare providers have been subjecting children to horrific, experimental treatments in service of radical gender ideologies. Today, thanks to the Wolves in White Coats report released by @HHSGov, we know why: profit. It turns out that convincing vulnerable children to reject their gender can create patients for life, earning hospitals tens of thousands of dollars in additional revenue per child. The report contains deeply disturbing allegations, and I encourage every American and every parent, to read it. More than just pushing these procedures on kids, hospitals and providers may have been defrauding Medicaid and private insurers by using misleading or fraudulent billing codes to get insurance to cover the costs.
