There’s now a platform that hires AI agents for you from 273,000 skills and keeps them running 24/7 while you sleep @lobehub just launched something called a Chief Agent Operator. you don’t build agents. you don’t prompt agents. you just say what needs doing, and it finds the right agent, deploys it, and reports back through Slack, Discord, or whatever you already use In 2015, you hired humans on Fiverr for $5/hr. in 2026, AI is hiring AI like it has a budget and a calendar. Currently most agent-powered workflow asks you to open separate agents, repeat context, assign tasks, check progress, move results between apps, and decide when to escalate work. LobeHub has an operator layer that hires agents from a 273K-skill marketplace, schedules them in the cloud 24/7, and sends reports through the IM apps where teams already work. So their "Task" turns an agent into a background worker: you assign the job once, the agent keeps running, shares progress, moves finished work to Pending Review, and updates its work when you leave comments. 50%+ cost savings and cloud 24/7, no self-hosting The way I understand LobeHub: Claude Code, Cursor, and Manus are powerful agents/tools, but LobeHub is the operator layer that decides who does what, when, and how the work comes back to you. 🧵 1.

Today Instagram had this massive exploit where hackers were just stealing rare handles left and right. Hundreds of accounts gone. People losing handles they’ve owned since 2010, some worth hundreds of thousands. I own a few rare ones so I was actually stressed watching this happen in real time, which I haven’t been in years. Obama White House account got hit. These aren’t some random new accounts, these are verified, locked down accounts and they still got compromised. The thing is the exploit is so simple it’s almost funny. Attacker goes to Forgot Password, says their account is hacked, turns on a VPN to match the target’s location (which now you can find on the about section of the page). Instagram’s AI support flow asks them to verify with a selfie. They grab a photo from the target’s profile, run it through an AI video generator to make an animation of the person’s face moving around, upload that to Meta’s AI as proof. And Meta’s AI just accepts it because it can’t tell the difference between a real selfie and an AI-generated video of someone’s face . Once verified they change the email to theirs. Password reset link goes to their email. They own it now. 2FA gets bypassed somehow in the process but honestly I don’t know exactly how, just that it did. Point is even locked down accounts went down. Then you try to recover your account and you’re talking to a chatbot that has zero ability to help. You can’t escalate to a human. You’re just stuck. Your asset is gone and there’s no one to call. The whole thing just highlighted how stupid it is to automate account security without any human in the loop. One AI fooling another AI while there’s literally no person anywhere to catch it. Meta took hours to even acknowledge it while accounts were getting stolen every minute. Now thankfully it’s patched but I don’t think it will be the last one. Stay safe!

To everyone in the HTX community concerned about the recent news, I’d like to clarify the situation and reduce unnecessary panic and misinformation. First, this is a relatively common compliance review process. We are actively communicating with all relevant parties to resolve misunderstandings as quickly as possible. HTX also sees this as an opportunity to further strengthen our compliance and risk-control systems, helping the platform become even more resilient. At present: Platform operations are normal User assets remain secure Deposits, withdrawals, and trading are functioning normally There is no need for excessive concern. For users asking what they should do right now, there are two options: 1️⃣ Do nothing You may simply wait while we complete communications with relevant parties and resolve the situation. HTX has operated for 13 years and has weathered multiple market cycles and industry challenges. We remain fully committed to protecting user assets and platform security. Our support team and I will continue to be available 24/7 to assist users. 2️⃣ If you still feel uncomfortable, you may temporarily withdraw assets on-chain Deposits and withdrawals are currently operating normally, and users are free to make their own decisions. ⸻ What happened? On May 26, the UK Foreign Office announced a new round of Russia-related sanctions under The Russia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019. The list included 18 crypto-related entities and individuals, including a company named “Huobi Global S.A.” According to the UK statement, this entity allegedly provided financial services and technical support to the Russian exchange Garantex and the A7 crypto payment network. However, there is one very important point many people misunderstand: “Huobi Global S.A.” is not the same thing as the HTX exchange platform used by global users today. Many people equate a brand name with a legal operating entity, but global businesses often operate through multiple legal entities across different jurisdictions for compliance purposes. So: Sharing a similar brand name does NOT mean sharing the same legal entity, operational structure, or asset system. The HTX platform used by users today operates independently under its own structure. ⸻ Why users should not panic 1️⃣ The sanctions target a specific legal entity This is not a “brand-wide sanction.” The UK sanctions apply to a specific listed entity and do not automatically extend to all businesses using similar branding. The practical impact is also mainly limited to the UK financial and regulatory system. ⸻ 2️⃣ The sanctions mainly affect relationships inside the UK financial system This may include: Restrictions involving UK financial institutions Suspension of payment or intermediary relationships Asset-related measures within UK jurisdiction But this does NOT mean: Global user assets are frozen HTX has stopped operating Users cannot trade or withdraw funds At this time, the platform continues to operate normally. ⸻ Why did the situation escalate so quickly? Some third-party blockchain security providers applied broad risk labels to related wallet addresses in a “one-size-fits-all” manner. This affected certain normal user transactions and created unnecessary panic and speculation. Our compliance, security, and legal teams are already communicating with the relevant parties, and we expect the issue to be resolved soon. We understand the community’s concerns and will continue to communicate transparently. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us or our support team anytime.

Pope Leo XIV has released a new encyclical, Magnifica Humanitas, warning of the growing risks of artificial intelligence if developed without strong ethical limits and human control. The Pope said AI should be “disarmed” from military and competitive systems that could allow it to dominate human life. He warned that AI could escalate warfare, replace jobs too quickly and create autonomous weapons that may operate beyond human oversight. At the same time, he made clear that the Church is not against technology or innovation. Instead, he called for AI to be developed in ways that protect human dignity and serve the common good. He urged governments and tech companies to slow deployment in high-risk areas and establish stronger rules

A newly discovered security vulnerability known as Copy Fail, or CVE-2026-31431, has been disclosed in the Linux kernel. It affects virtually every major Linux distribution released since 2017. The flaw sits in the kernel’s cryptographic subsystem and stems from a logic error introduced back in 2017: >It allows any local user without special privileges to escalate directly to root. >The exploit is unusually simple: a short Python script can reliably achieve this by modifying data only in the system’s memory cache rather than on disk. >In practice, an attacker can target any readable file, such as a setuid-root binary like sudo or su, and alter it only in RAM. >The change is invisible to file integrity monitors and leaves no trace on the hard drive. >The same technique also works from inside containers, potentially allowing an escape from Docker, Kubernetes, or similar environments to compromise the host server. >This makes Copy Fail both stealthy and highly portable across systems. Patches have already begun rolling out from major distributors. System administrators should apply the latest kernel updates and reboot as soon as possible.

Here’s the dynamic when it comes to the nuclear negotiations, as I see it: Inside Iran, there isn’t one unified position. It’s a split. For the IRGC, the nuclear program, ballistic missiles, and weapons stockpiles are not bargaining chips. They see them as the core of regime survival. Give that up, and you lose deterrence, leverage, and ultimately control. From their perspective, disarmament is not a deal, it’s surrender. And if the outcome is losing power either way, their logic shifts: fight, escalate, and if necessary embrace martyrdom over capitulation. On the other side, parts of the political leadership appear more pragmatic. They understand the economic and military pressure and are at least open to exploring a deal to preserve what they can. That’s the deadlock. One side sees compromise as survival. The other sees it as the end.

Phishing isn’t just a frontend issue. It can escalate into protocol-level damage, fast. With real-time detection and automated response, millions can be saved. This is what proactive Web3 security looks like.

As a guide, the most relevant people to probe are your managers, direct reports, and/or agreed experts. They are the most impacted by and most informed about the issues under discussion, and so they are the most important parties to be in sync with. If you can't get in sync, you should escalate the disagreement by raising it to the appropriate people. #principleoftheday#
