The second Nvidia book to come out this year, complementing The Nvidia Way with more of a focus on Jensen personally. I enjoyed it, but I am slightly miffed about having a quote from me fabricated: “We wanted a faster responding Quake so our customers could reach out and frag somebody,” Carmack told me. “Most of these hardware accelerators couldn’t deliver that.” That isn’t misleading, being the general gist of what I said, but it isn’t a quote. I understand there is a desire to clean verbal sequences up for print, but I still like a standard where things in quotes actually came out of the person’s mouth. I was sent a proof of the book a few months ahead of publication, but I only just finished reading it, so that’s on me. @stephenwitt
