BREAKING: The U.S. Department of Justice is backing xAI and asking the court to dismiss the NAACP lawsuit against its Colossus data center. The Department of Justice says shutting down xAI’s power supply would threaten U.S. national security because Grok is already being used for critical military and defense operations. DOJ also said that Grok is one of only a handful of AI systems supporting mission-critical government networks. DOJ, xAI, and Mississippi are asking the court to dismiss the case.
