When you came to Iceland in early June 2025 we had not yet started to see many of the consequences of the 2024 push to bring in people from Gaza (led by a group of women in an empathy rush). Since then, we have had a grooming gang being stopped by coincidence, revealing they had two teenage girls they had drugged in the car, a group of Hamas-connected men made an attempt to kill a person in a parking garage (on trial now, but one escaped to Jordan), another group attacked a 17 year (could have killed him) old because he had the reaction of punching the hood of their car as they drove over his foot, joined by people who came out of a nearby Kebab restaurant to help beat him up. We have gangs of kids from Gaza that are terrorising other children. We do not let our kids out the same way as before. We see pictures of them in expensive cars (how do they get expensive cars? – there was an effort to gather money to pay them out of Gaza) – some pictures with guns. Videos of them browing the horns of their cars to assert dominance. We hear their loud music in the night when they drive by our homes. There was an incident of a person walking a suburb with a machete during an argument (photographed from all angles). They (or other muslims) took over a shed by the airport that taxi drivers had to have coffee and go to the toilet and the denied everyone else entry (people that legally can use it and have used it for years) as they turned it into a place to pray. One woman, who had brought a "refugee" from Gaza and married him has now testified in an interview that he was indeed a violent Hamas member (good for her to admit that she was wrong and testify).
All this is just the tip of the Iceberg and everybody that has eyes and ears sees and hears this. This is just little Iceland in about one year since you came here. Only the ideologically possessed can't see what is going on.

Pray for the people of Venezuela… looks like they’ve been hit by a bomb.
🚨 SITREP: Venezuela Earthquakes — USGS PAGER modeling estimates Fatalities reach 100,000 Souls
🔻What & When:
Last night, 6:04 p.m. ET / corresponding Venezuelan time), two powerful earthquakes struck western/northern Venezuela in quick succession.
1. 7.2 magnitude foreshock near San Felipe, Yaracuy state.
2. 40 seconds later, a 7.5 magnitude mainshock about 23 km (14 miles) southeast of Yumare, also in Yaracuy state (roughly 160 km / 100 miles west of Caracas).
These were the strongest quakes to hit Venezuela in over a century.
The shaking was widely felt across much of the country (especially Caracas and coastal areas like La Guaira) and into neighboring Colombia. Depths were very shallow, amplifying the impact. A tsunami warning was issued but quickly canceled.
🔻 Casualties:
- Confirmed deaths: At least 164. Injuries: nearly 1,000
- Many people remain trapped under rubble; and the toll is expected to rise exponentially over the coming days/weeks.
The “up to 100,000 deaths” reports comes from USGS PAGER modeling (probabilistic estimates of potential fatalities based on shaking intensity, population exposure, and building vulnerability). USGS issued a red alert for high casualties and extensive damage.
Most likely outcome:
- Thousands of fatalities.
Substantial probability of exceeding 10,000.
Upper-end scenarios in the model reach up to 100,000 (with references to ~30% probability in some coverage for the highest band).
🔻 Damage and Impact:
Several Dozen buildings collapsed or were heavily damaged, particularly in Caracas and La Guaira state (declared a disaster zone).
— Pancaked or partially collapsed multi-story buildings.
— Damage to Simón Bolívar Airport (Maiquetía) near Caracas, which was temporarily closed.
— Widespread power and telecommunications outages (internet connectivity dropped sharply initially).
— Rubble-strewn streets and scenes of panic as people evacuated buildings.
— La Guaira and parts of Caracas were among the hardest-hit areas.
But suspiciously… Venezuela’s oil infrastructure appeared largely unaffected in initial reports.
🔻Government and Response Actions:
• Acting President Delcy Rodríguez declared a state of emergency, established a high-level task force for search-and-rescue, and announced a $200 million fund for reconstruction.
—— $200M is not nearly enough.
She addressed the nation, expressing condolences and calling the event a “true tragedy.” Security forces deployed nationwide; schools suspended for up to a week, at least for now; non-essential activities and some rail services canceled.
Hospitals braced for casualties by doubling shifts.
Rescue teams are actively searching rubble with power tools and heavy equipment; civilians have been asked to help with food, water, and debris removal.

• United States: Search-and-rescue teams (Fairfax County and Los Angeles), overhead imagery, and promises of “big, fast” support.
France: 85 search-and-rescue specialists.
Switzerland: 80 rescuers + 8 dogs + equipment.
Spain, Netherlands, Czech Republic, and others sending teams, dogs, and gear.
Solidarity messages from Russia, Ukraine, and others.

🚨 On July 1, Beijing's New "Ethnic Unity" Law Goes Live — and Article 63 Reaches Into Your Living Room.
July 1 is not a routine compliance date. That morning, the People's Republic of China activates the Law on Promoting Ethnic Unity and Progress, passed by the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) on March 12 and signed the same day by Xi Jinping. Sixty-five articles, seven chapters, one preamble — and one provision foreign capitals are still under-reading.
Article 63 is the extraterritorial clause. Verbatim, it asserts jurisdiction over "organizations and individuals outside the [mainland] territory of the PRC that commit acts aimed at the PRC that undermine ethnic unity and progress or create ethnic division." The operative categories are deliberately elastic, the same structural choice that gave Hong Kong's National Security Law its global reach. The difference: Hong Kong's statute nominally orbits one territory. This one is drafted without borders.
Writing in Japan's PRESIDENT magazine on June 21, commentator Tsukasa Shirakawa — an LDP Chiyoda Ward (Tokyo) assembly member — described the statute as the completed form of Xi Jinping's "external-suppression infrastructure," with Japanese companies and Japanese citizens' speech in the crosshairs. His three flags: forced Mandarin standardization that squeezes Uyghur, Tibetan, and Mongolian linguistic survival; the criminalization of cultural dissent as "separatism"; and Article 63's global reach.
The reach is not theoretical. Safeguard Defenders has documented at least 102 PRC overseas "police service stations" across 53 countries — a transnational policing lattice already operating. Article 63 hands that lattice a domestic legal pretext.
The audience matters. Under Beijing's grammar, a Japanese executive endorsing Taiwan, a German academic publishing on Xinjiang, an American congressional staffer briefed on Tibet — all sit inside the statute's surface area. None has to land at Beijing Capital Airport to be charged on paper. The ones who do land — diaspora Uyghurs, Tibetans, Hong Kongers, dual nationals — face confiscation and detention risk under adjacent statutes that Article 63 now scaffolds.
The headline isn't the ethnic policy. The headline is jurisdiction. Beijing is claiming the right to govern global speech about China itself.
