Think about this, the 7+ year old Teslas with AI3 that are now getting FSD V14 Lite have a more capable self-driving system than any brand-new non-Tesla car currently sold in North America. Pretty wild.

New @Tesla Semi spotted testing in Palo Alto today with ground truth validation gear on its roof. The truck has 10 cameras, cameras washers, and Tesla says it's "autonomy ready." (thx for the video @r_e_dor)

Tesla stock was basically flat from 2013 to 2019. $TSLA has always been a stock that makes most of its gains in short periods of time, and then stays relatively flat for a long periods of time. Some people aren't cut out for that. In general, people focus too much on stock prices. Real pain was being all-in on Tesla stock in 2017/2018 and not knowing if the company would survive, while seeing constant short seller attacks and FUD. Or seeing the stock drop 75% from its peak in late 2021 to $101/share in early 2023. While $TSLA is 24% off its all-time high right now, it doesn't even come close to one the all-time biggest drawdown. With robotaxis and humanoid robots in the pipeline, I'm certainly not bearish. These things might be taking longer to play out than initially expected, but they both have the potential to change the world. Hopefully we get a good progress report on the Q2 earnings call.

Tesla has announced that it will increase production output at its Giga Berlin factory by another 20% to 7,500 vehicles per week starting in October of this year. This is in addition to the 20% production output increase previously announced a few months ago. Tesla will hire 1,000 additional employees by October for this new increase in production. "3,500 additional jobs will be created in the short and medium term for vehicle and battery manufacturing at the plant," Tesla said.

SpaceX's @Starlink will be installed on more than 80 giant Oldendorff ships. Oldendorff is one of the world’s largest dry bulk shipping companies. "With vessels operating in diverse regions and trading routes, reliable and resilient connectivity plays an increasingly important role in maintaining operational efficiency and optimizing global fleet management."

Starlink being installed on the first Iberia plane. The plans competed its first flight with Starlink last night. Ibera Airlines plans to install Starlink on 35% of its long-haul fleet in 2026.

Elon confirms "Starmind" will be the official name of @SpaceX's AI satellite constellation. Earlier this year, SpaceX filed a request with the FCC to launch and operate a constellation of 1 million AI satellites. SpaceX's AI1 satellite:

Finally got to check out @Tesla's new Marine Blue and Frost Blue colors in person today for the first time. Still prefer the Marine Blue, but the Frost Blue is definitely more unique. Getting hard to keep track of all the new blue colors they have in certain regions lol

This weekend, I drove all over NYC on @Tesla FSD V14.3.4 with zero disengagements. It handled everything flawlessly. In my video below, FSD stops for a child running into the street on his scooter, navigate tight spaces, and more. My Model Y also drove itself on FSD from New Hampshire to NYC and back again without any disengagements. FSD feels like magic, yet so many people have no idea that this technology exists and that it can do stuff like this today.

My Model Y drove it itself from New Hampshire to New York City and back again. I just sat in the driver seat and supervised it. @Tesla’s FSD is currently the only system that enables you to do this. 500 mile FSD streak milestone:

Green Bay PD is adding two 2026 @Tesla Model Y patrol vehicles to its fleet after first introducing Model Ys to its fleet in 2024. Chief of Police said its two 2024 Model Ys cost less than $500 per year each to operate, with windshield wiper replacements the only maintenance so far, saving them a lot of money.
