Nothing else was close. The car follows the navigation route, changes lanes, makes turns and responds to traffic. If you spend much time driving in Southern California traffic, it changes the experience dramatically. None of this is an environmental statement. It is a convenience statement. Tesla got me to leave a six-figure luxury SUV for a smaller and considerably more modest Model Y because the technology was more valuable to me than the size, materials and traditional comforts I was giving up. I don’t miss my Navigator. Not even a little."

Congrats @DavidMoss on being the first Tesla owner to cross 25,000 miles on the FSD streak counter! That's equivalent to one full lap around Earth, or two years of driving for the average American. Pretty wild. The confetti celebration also came back after it last appeared for him at the 5,000 mile streak milestone haha. Andrew Ross Sorkin today on his @Starlink experience on United Airlines: "Amazing. I wonder what it's going to mean for other airlines . If you were traveling from NY to LA for the next couple years, if you had a choice between Starlink and no Starlink, you'd choose Starlink. I think this is going to be huge for them."

This couple in North Carolina just took delivery of a new Model Y after having zero knowledge about Teslas a few weeks ago. They love FSD. "The minute I got in the car, I tapped FSD. I actually haven’t driven the car myself; We test-drove the @Tesla on June 27th, ordered a Model Y on June 29th, and drove away on July 11! Exactly 2 weeks... from NO knowledge to purchase! SpaceX has introduced a new website for its next-generation @Starlink V3 satellites, along with new information about the satellite. • 1 Tbps downlink capacity (~10× higher than Starlink V2). • 160 Gbps uplink capacity (~22× higher than Starlink V2). • 2,048 downlink beams + 2,048 uplink beams (vs. 192 downlink/144 uplink beams on V2). • Upgraded phased array antennas enable the increased user capacity and beam count. • New SpaceX-designed beamformer chips power the phased arrays. • Modem chips handle ~64× more throughput per chip, allowing more efficient simultaneous service and real-time beam allocation based on demand. • Each satellite includes 6 high-capacity 400 Gbps laser links, enabling a redundant petabit-scale laser mesh network for global routing. • Each satellite also has 4 quad-band RF backhaul antennas operating across Ka, E, V, and W bands. • RF backhaul capacity increases to 1.2 Tbps (>8× Starlink V2). • Backhaul uplink supports 60 GHz of spectrum across frequencies and polarizations (4.3× more than V2). • New solar arrays generate ~2× the power of the V2 satellite arrays. • Solar arrays are manufactured using a continuous roll of solar blanket, cut into 19-meter sections, with 4 sections stitched together per array. • Solar arrays are optimized to reduce atmospheric drag in low Earth orbit. • A Starship launch carrying V3 satellites will deploy ~20× more network capacity than a Falcon 9 launch carrying V2 satellites. • V3 technology will support future Starlink Mobile Gen 2 satellites, delivering terrestrial-like LTE speeds directly to unmodified smartphones. Top ⁠computer ⁠chip equipment ⁠maker ASML said its capacity expansion ​plans in 2027 and 2028 unveiled ‌today take into ⁠account ⁠demand for its tools from Elon Musk's planned ​Terafab chip production facility in Texas. "We're in dialogue with all our customers and ​we know ... what their building plans are," ⁠CFO Roger ⁠Dassen ​said on a call. "Terafab is also part of ​those plans." Dassen also said ASML was close to fully booking its 2027 EUV capacity and ⁠had already secured a substantial number of 2028 extreme ultraviolet lithography (EUV) orders.

Tesla has partnered with 7-Eleven Japan to begin installing Superchargers at the country’s largest convenience store chain. The 150th Supercharger site in Japan was also the first of this new partnership, which opened on July 11 at the 7-Eleven Kawasaki Shimokodanaka East store in Kanagawa Prefecture.

One new feature in Tesla FSD V14.3.5 is you can now open Camera Preview at any time, even if your Tesla is driving. This includes the interior cabin camera, so if you want to keep a better eye on your kids while you drive, you now can.
