OpenClaw vs. Hermes vs. Grok @bot, clearly explained: All three let you set up an agent with a specific job, and it keeps its files and logins between sessions instead of starting fresh. OpenClaw and Hermes are self-hosted, so the machine can be a laptop, a VPS, or a container that someone already pays for and can log into. Grok Bot runs on a machine SpaceXAI provisions and operates. It gives one computer per account rather than one per agent. Every Bot on that account reads the same files and carries the same browser logins, so handing work between two Bots does not require a re-login or file transfer. Hermes and OpenClaw isolate agents instead, and their memory sits in plain files anyone can open and edit. Hermes goes furthest since the agent writes its own skills and a background curator deletes the ones nobody uses. Grok Bot has the lowest-friction path to a new skill in my opinion. You can record up to ten minutes of one pass through a workflow, and it can then turn that into a reusable set of instructions and store it as a skill. Moving on, OpenClaw and Hermes run on any model provider. Grok Bot runs on Grok. 绕过。限制似乎是一开始非预期引入的，随后我让 Grok Bot 部署 Hermes Agent 后，通过 Telegram Bot 配对上，排查定位整个环境，找到了方向… 一个解法思路，供参考。

从 4 月初开始使用 Hermes Agent 开始，已经整整 4 个月了，它已经基本融入我的全部工作和生活，从日程管理、方案策划、健康管理、技能学习、服务器管理、资产管理再到工作执行等等，光是 State.db 就 3G 多。 感受上就是极大的生产力提升和全新思维的转变。在过去我已经陆续分享过无数个经验了，带来了至少几百人开始使用 Hermes 改造他们的工作生活。 在这个过程中，我感受到了 Hermes 的巨大潜力，也看到了很多人仍然不理解到底跟 Codex、Work Buddy、Pi 等等有什么区别？以及初始化的搭建仍然充满挑战等等。所以我写了这篇文章，希望可以简单介绍下我的看法。 之前跟 @rayoo_eth 的一次线下交流，也一起有了发起一个爱好者社区、讨论群的想法，所以也欢迎大家加入 @hermescn_org 社群，一起拥抱进化吧！

关于 agent 协作的一些思考： - 我希望 cumora / raft 这一类产品更进一步。就我司而言，内部有一个 Hermes，我有一个自建的 agent，需要有限度相互通信。譬如我家 agent 给我生图的时候就不要 whisper 或者暴露状态给 hermes，Hermes 也不应该能看见我家 agent 在干嘛。 - 网络基建会是痛点。我并不觉得 tailscale/wg 提供足够的稳定性，这两天在弱网络地区（譬如我这两天出游）很难通过 herdr 进行远程操作。websocket 是否能提供足够的稳定性还是得看 edge node，但是无状态的 http 一定是王者。这里的一个推论就是如果在国内，还是利好微信。试想微信里面的一个联系人就是你的 agent — 比你自建 CDN 等各种折腾网络基建的投入产出比高太多。

模型越来越便宜之后，企业真正争夺的可能不再是“用哪家模型”，而是谁控制模型之上的那一层。 Chamath预计，未来36个月，企业会普遍采用8090 Software Factory、Palantir、Hermes这类独立控制层，让不同模型可以随时替换。 因为比价格更重要的，是防止数据与IP泄露，并保留对企业判断和知识的完整主权
