I am not, and never have been a country music fan, despite living in one of the few far northern states that embraces it. This is generational talent on display, Taylor Swift couldn’t be this in her wildest dreams.

Long before modern country music, there was Jimmie Rodgers. His voice, storytelling, and legendary yodeling inspired generations of artists, including Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, and Elvis Presley.

We’re at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville tonight, which we’ve been told is the most historic and legendary country music venue in the world. There are many different artists here who each perform a couple of songs. It feels like the ultimate country music experience.
