War Secretary Pete Hegseth defended President Trump's supplemental funding request as lawmakers questioned the administration about the cost of the war in Iran.
Hegseth argued the Pentagon must fully fund the military to meet growing global threats, saying now is the time to invest in America's warfighters rather than scale back defense spending.
