I want to be transparent with you all. This wasn't just a general statement. It came from my own experience. For 2 years I reported harassment targeting me. Two independent organizations confirmed the pattern and took action. The person they sanctioned was invited and sponsored by @Blizzard @Diablo for BlizzCon. I was excluded. When I asked why, I was told the contract gives them full discretion and that they owe me no reason. When I pushed further, I was told it might be best to part ways. What makes this harder to understand: Blizzard was aware of the situation throughout. They acknowledged it. They told me how I handled it publicly had helped. And yet the person those organizations sanctioned was sponsored, while I was excluded with no reason given. I tried every quiet channel before posting this. I gave it time.
