Addressing the outcomes of the 16th BRICS Health Ministerial Meeting, Union Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare and Minister of Ayush, Shri Prataprao Jadhav highlighted the decision of BRICS Member States and Official Partner Countries to establish a BRICS Working Group on Traditional Medicine, aimed at strengthening collaboration and promoting traditional systems of medicine. He underscored India’s rich heritage of Ayurveda, Yoga and other traditional healing systems, highlighting their growing global acceptance and the increasing international interest in integrating these systems into healthcare.
