26 years ago today Britney Spears released her sophomore album ‘Oops!…I Did It Again’ in the U.S.
The album debuted at #1# with 1,319,193 copies sold in the first week, breaking the record for most first week sales by a female artist (at the time). By its 5th week it had sold 3 million copies in the U.S.
The album is known for the hit singles “Oops!…I Did It Again”, “Lucky”, “Stronger” and “Don’t Let Me Be The Last To Know”.
