Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has stated that Grand Theft Auto VI will not include any real-world brand product placements.
He explained that the game features a fully fictional world where all brands are made up. “So we’re not even at risk of doing brand partnerships because all the brands are made up. And I think that keeps us pure,”
This will allow Rockstar Games to maintain the satirical integrity of the Vice City setting without ads.
