Apple has reached a $250 million settlement in a class action lawsuit over its advertising of Apple Intelligence features for Siri.
The complaints alleged that Apple promoted enhanced, AI-powered Siri capabilities for the iPhone 16 series and iPhone 15 Pro models that were not available at launch and have since been delayed until sometime in 2026.
Under the proposed settlement:
>U.S. purchasers of these eligible iPhones bought between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025, may qualify for compensation.
>Payments are expected to range from roughly $25 to $95 per device
>The agreement includes no admission of liability by Apple and is subject to final court approval.
Eligible iphone buyers should check for notices regarding the claims process in the coming weeks.
