I hosted my first AI meetup event in Shanghai and surprisingly 40+ followers showed up! 🚀
This was my very first offline event after years of posting on YouTube/X and later RedNote, Bilibili, and Douyin. I honestly didn’t expect this kind of turnout in Shanghai.
During the chats I could literally feel everyone’s energy for AI and building startups. Some friends even traveled specially from Qingdao, Hangzhou, and other cities. A few told me they’ve been following my content since the very first episode.
Man, that hit me hard. So grateful.
I realized that putting real effort into making AI deep dive sessions actually makes a difference for people. Yesterday’s event gave me this wild feeling.
It was like every online subscriber just collapsed from “quantum state” into real, living humans. Meeting face-to-face, making real connections, building a community… it turned content creation into something warm, alive, and full of energy.

第一次办上海AI线下活动来了40+小伙伴🚀
这是我从几年前开始做YouTube/X，到后来做小红书/B站/抖音以来，第一次办线下活动，完全没想到在上海会有这么多人来，交流的过程中我感受到大家对AI和创业满满的热情，甚至有小伙伴是从青岛和杭州等城市特地赶过来，还有一些小伙伴告诉我他们从第一期开始就一直在看我的内容，真的太感动了。
我意识到认真做一些力所能及的分享会真的对大家有一些帮助，并且昨天的活动也让我有一种把每一个线上的订阅者从”量子态”坍缩成一个个真实的个人的感觉。跟大家见面并产生链接，形成社群，让内容创作成了一件有温度有生命力的一件事。
期待之后和大家再次相遇，一起加油👏
