Best explanation for what "Dealer Nodes" are and why this is critical decentralized network infrastructure (a first for poker).
People keep asking about dealer nodes on @FastdotPoker so let me explain : Every poker hand needs someone to manage it : start the hand, deal, reveal, etc. on a classic poker app its centralized. Here with FastPoker it's permissionless and decentralized, anyone running a dealer can do it and earn fees for it. how it works : Game mechanic runs on @magicblock 's Ephemeral Rollups (ER) so player actions are instant and gasless. Cards are dealt inside a Trusted Execution Environments (TEE), a secure env where nobody (not the team, not dealers, not other players) can see what's happening. Then everything that's money related (payins, payouts) is on L1 (solana). What's important : Dealer pays gas on those L1 actions. Poker player actions are gasless, the dealer's txs are NOT. This is you real cost (added to dealer license price and rpc cost ofc) A dealer is the engine keeping tables alive. no dealers cranking = no poker. Thats why they get paid.
