TRUMP: IRAN’S NEXT SUPREME LEADER MUST HAVE U.S. APPROVAL
President Donald Trump said Iran’s next supreme leader “won’t last long” without U.S. approval.
In an interview with ABC News, Trump said the new leader “is going to have to get approval from us,” warning that without it, the leader would not remain in power.
Trump added his goal is to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power and avoid repeated crises in the future, saying he does not want the U.S. to face the same threat again in five or ten years.
