China is expanding robot use in its police forces nationwide.
Deployments include advanced humanoid units that patrol with officers to direct traffic, guide pedestrians, and manage crowds.
In Hangzhou, authorities recently introduced 15 humanoid robots to support traffic police during the busy May holiday period.
Large spherical wheeled robots are also being rolled out for autonomous patrols and enforcement in urban areas.
