Dua Lipa has filed a $15 million lawsuit against Samsung.
The singer alleges the company used a copyrighted photo of her taken backstage at the 2024 Austin City Limits Festival on the packaging of its Crystal UHD TVs without permission or compensation.
The lawsuit claims this created a false impression of endorsement and that Samsung ignored a cease-and-desist request.
It is brought under California right of publicity laws, the federal Lanham Act, and trademark claims.
