Embark Studios has made big changes to how they update ARC Raiders. They will stop small monthly updates and now release two big updates each year instead. This way they can make much bigger and better improvements to the game. The next big update is called Frozen Trail. It arrives in October and is their biggest update ever: >The biggest map yet, a huge new area in the Rust Belt with lots of layers and new secrets to find. >A brand new ARC Operation with fresh enemy types and new enemy behaviors for more exciting fights. >New ways to level up (they know players finish the Raider Den and skill points too fast) and a better skill tree. >More story about where the ARC came from. >New guns, items, tools, clothes, and more. For the next five months, a special team will keep working on the game to fix bugs, balance things, add store items, run fun events, and fight cheaters so the game will not feel empty. Next week: A new Trader from a wandering tribe opens at level 25. You can sell your best stuff there for special rewards, rare items, and cool looks. You will also get more storage space and an “Expedition Vault” to carry your top 5 items on every run.
