President Xi Jinping met with Icelandic President Halla Tómasdóttir @HallaTomas.
Over the past 54 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties, China and Iceland have respected each other and pursued win-win cooperation. The fruitful outcomes achieved in bilateral relations have fully shown that countries with different national conditions are fully capable of transcending differences in social system and other areas to achieve mutual benefit.
China attaches importance to developing its relations with Iceland and is ready to strengthen exchanges and deepen cooperation with Iceland to deliver more benefits to the two peoples.
