“If you can’t beat them, join them.”
Elon says every attempt he made to slow AI progress actually ended up accelerating it. His conclusion: all roads lead to acceleration.
The only realistic option left is to minimize the probability of a bad outcome — not pretend we can stop the train.
That’s why he founded xAI, and why he’s now pushing for rival AI labs to review each other’s models before release.
