Unlimited approval. Two words nobody likes seeing in a wallet prompt. The 1inch dApp currently sets one when you approve a token for Aqua, the shared liquidity layer. Does it have to be that big? No. Aqua works with any allowance. Fills spend it as they execute; if it covers less than your position, the uncovered part just doesn't trade. An approval on its own moves nothing. Tokens leave your wallet only when a swap fills. One catch: if a position was underfunded, tokens you add later can be used too.
