INS Vikrant (IAC-1), India’s first indigenously designed and built aircraft carrier, is among the country’s most advanced warships.
Built with indigenous warship-grade steel, gas turbine engines, a STOBAR launch system, ski-jump deck, MF-STAR radar and the Barak-8 missile defence system, it serves as a floating naval airbase.
