Whatever happened to Tesla’s Optimus V3 demo? My theory. Elon said that they stopped doing a lot of demos because the competition would simply copy what Tesla was doing after each showing. My theory is that Tesla engineers realized that they were further ahead on production than they forecasted. In @herbertong’s interview of Lars, Lars said that production of Optimus is ahead of schedule. I predict that whenever Tesla presents the V3 demo, it is going to have impressive capabilities, the actuators will stand the test of time, AND they will announce that production has already began on a meaningful level.
