Confirmed.. 29 million share trade ($1.3b) of $IBIT executed at 1030am this morning. This screen shows all the IBIT trades today by size and you can see one of these is not like the others. Price unchanged today so mkt absorbed it well.

Thesis: Crap weather making you depressed and forcing you to get creative is why a disproportionate amt of amazing music has come from Seattle, the UK and Minnesota. At least half of all the best stuff comes from those three places.

Re-organizing closet and found old t-shirt (still fits btw) from my first job out of school at an II newsletter called Derivatives Monitor, also available on Terminal. Mostly I had to call up traders (who werent that into talking) to try and get them say why stuff went up/down.

With my kid to get some shots up at the only dry (outdoor) courts in Philly. Underneath I-95. What it lacks in cleanliness it makes up for in character.
The other thing I noticed with writing and readership is if you do the routine recurring boring work or exhausting deep dives (which most of time doesn't get a lot of hits, the odds increase of getting struck with killer idea that you bang out in an hour (which tends to crush w/ reads). But it's really hard to have the latter without the former.

He's like the Buddha of cool music. I've come to similar conclusion in writing and research, it's like digging a mine, boring, but eventually a) you will tap into new energy sources and b) spot something amazing on the side of hole that wasn't even what you were originally digging for. Both those things require the boring digging tho.

The Leonard Cohen Raincoat song on here is unbelievable. Never heard it bf. Up there w Halleliuah IMO. That said it’s kinda insane that a rock band uses stuff like this to warm up a crowd. Very on brand for them.

Been listening to this playlist that Thom Yorke made of songs they played bf the band took stage on tour. Super eclectic musical adventure if you’re into that. Lot of minor chords. Pairs well with this miserable weather and/or busy work fyi.

Passive S&P 500 funds could have to buy roughly 19% of public SpaceX shares within 6mo under fast-tracking framework (it would enter the index at the est 6th spot), Russell 1000 and Nasdaq 100 may buy another 5.5% within weeks of the IPO. Thrown in active MFs benchmarked to those indices and you get to HALF of SpaceX shares. Nice study from my colleague @rduboff

The series finale of “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” drew 6.74M viewers on Thursday night, making it the most-watched weeknight episode in the show’s history.
• The finale was up sharply from the show’s 2026 Q1 average of 2.69M viewers
• It’s also above “The Late Show” series premiere on Sept. 8, 2015, which averaged 6.55M viewers
• The most-watched episode remains Colbert’s post-Super Bowl broadcast on Feb. 7, 2016, which drew 20.55M viewers

Watched Obsession last night (the little indie theatre I go to was packed, rare, prob bc 95% RT). Rare mix of scary and funny with fleshed out characters but was overly abrasive and bleak. Some dialogue scenes felt too slow as well, could have cut 15min. 6/10.

For everyone saying SpaceX needs to be profitable. Normally, yes. But they are considering changing rules for mega cap IPOs.
