WATCH: The grandfather thrown into the air by a charging bison in Yellowstone is breaking his silence from a Bozeman hospital.
"He could have stomped me. He could have gored me. He could have done anything."
65-year-old Carl Isom-McDaniel says the landing, not the launch, caused his fractured hip and a broken femur, and he's now praising the doctors and nurses treating him as he begins a long recovery.
