Joint Base Charleston officially becomes Joint Base Lindsey Graham, honoring the late South Carolina senator and retired Air Force Reserve colonel.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, military leaders, and Graham's sister, Sen. Darline Graham, gathered in South Carolina as the new name was formally unveiled.
The renaming recognizes Graham's years of service both in the military and in the U.S. Senate. He served 33 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring at the rank of colonel.
