It’s a shame how dull and boring the new livery is. Curious that the train even says ‘Southern’ on it, so there’s no obvious reason that there couldn’t be variations between regions, building on the old classic liveries like GWR.

Nice explanation of why building market-rate homes is good for people who can't afford the specific homes being built.
I would add that affordable housing mandates, as taxes on new building, tend to reduce the overall amount of homes that get built, defeating their own aims.

Another reason we can’t have economic growth. An employer can give a job to a member of staff paying x, and because someone in a different job is paid y, they can end up with a multibillion pound backdated pay claim. Birmingham council was the tip of the iceberg.

Just a thought, but surely it wouldn’t be hard for Apple, Google… to have a system that when you wipe your phone & mark it as lost in find my friend, it will share the location with police from that point on.
