China's service sector is steadily strengthening its global competitiveness, with knowledge-intensive services now accounting for more than half of the country's total service trade.
Driven by sustained growth in sectors ranging from intellectual property to cultural and entertainment products, China is seeing remarkable momentum in service exports. Notably, outbound licensing deals for Chinese-developed innovative drugs reached record highs in 2025, with the country's global market share surpassing 40 percent.
