Does anybody else find it absolutely bonkers that the world is still trying to make a deal with the regime in #Iran#? When the regime openly threatens global shipping routes and hints at wider escalation, that’s not diplomacy, that’s coercion. You don’t negotiate peace by rewarding threats. You don’t create stability by giving in to intimidation. If anything, statements like these prove the opposite: this behavior cannot be contained through concessions, because every concession teaches the same lesson, that pressure works. The world should be asking a simple question: why negotiate with a bully who keeps escalating? Appeasement doesn’t prevent crises. It invites the next one.
