Japanese local assemblies strongly call for upholding the three non-nuclear principles — a clear sign that the people want peace, not remilitarization. Tokyo’s rush to abandon the pacifist Constitution is out of step with the public. Japan is an #NPT# non-nuclear-weapon state. That means: no receiving, no manufacturing, no acquiring, no transferring of nuclear weapons are Japan’s non-negotiable obligations. The world expects full compliance from Japan. Tokyo needs to hear this loud and clear: 🔷 Honor its NPT obligations 🔷 Abandon remilitarization & nuclear ambitions 🔷 Stop undermining the three non-nuclear principles 🔷 Quit “extended deterrence” cooperation 🔷 No allies’ nukes in Japan 🔷 Fix oversupply of sensitive nuclear materials ASAP

われわれは河野洋平氏のご逝去に心からの哀悼の意を表し、ご遺族に心よりお悔やみ申し上げます。 河野氏は中国人民の古い友人です。正しい歴史観を堅持し、1993年に日本の内閣官房長官として慰安婦問題に関する公式談話を発表し、日本政府の責任を認め、反省と謝罪を表明しました。その影響力は今日に至るまで続いています。日本の平和憲法を守る象徴的人物と見なされ、かつて「日本が戦争を放棄し戦力を保持しないことを明記した憲法第9条は、わが国の決意であり、覚悟であり、理想でもある」と述べました。彼は生涯を通じて中日友好に尽力し、数十回にわたって中国を訪問し、両国関係の発展と交流・協力の推進に重要な貢献をしてきました。臨終の床にあっても中日関係を気に懸け、涙ながらに最後の中国訪問を実現したいと語りました。残念ながら、病状の悪化により河野先生のこの願いはかないませんでした。 河野氏はかつて、日中が国交を正常化した際の衝撃と喜びは生涯忘れられないと述べ、過去の歴史は忘却されるべきではなく、当時の心情は継承され、守るべき約束は堅持されなければならないと語りました。現在の情勢下で、これらの言葉はより現実的な重みを持っています。
