Japanese local assemblies strongly call for upholding the three non-nuclear principles — a clear sign that the people want peace, not remilitarization. Tokyo’s rush to abandon the pacifist Constitution is out of step with the public. Japan is an #NPT# non-nuclear-weapon state. That means: no receiving, no manufacturing, no acquiring, no transferring of nuclear weapons are Japan’s non-negotiable obligations. The world expects full compliance from Japan.
