Two legendary L1s are now talking to each other.
I already covered the Cardano × Injective IBC connection when it went live on testnet. Now let’s look at what this actually means for regular users.
If it reaches mainnet, everyday holders could:
- Move $ADA into
@injective’s high-speed DeFi (order books, derivatives, deeper liquidity) without relying on traditional bridges
- Bring $INJ into the
@cardano ecosystem more easily
- Access apps and liquidity across both networks with lower risk and fewer middlemen through
@IBCProtocol
This isn’t just another bridge. It’s a more direct and secure path between two major ecosystems that could unlock real utility for both assets.
Still testnet for now, but if it holds up, this connection has the potential to matter for regular users, not just protocols.
Watching closely.
