Chinese robotics company AheadForm just unveiled one of the world's most lifelike humanoid robots at WAIC 2026 in Shanghai.
This AI-powered humanoid can hold natural conversations, maintain eye contact, blink, display realistic facial expressions and synchronize its speech with lifelike head and facial movements.
Demis Hassabis says there's a 50% chance we'll reach AGI by 2030. with some obvious margins of error. 👀
"The point is it could happen, depending on things like recursive self-improvement."

Actually first, a camera sees what you see. AI figures out what your body should do. Than, tiny electrical pulses move your muscles for you.
In demos, it played piano melodies, made hand gestures, waved, and assisted with drawing. It's still early experimental.
But the potential is HUGE, especially for rehabilitation, physical therapy and helping people regain movement.
