🚀 For 13 flights, Starship was intentionally kept on a suborbital path. Flight 14 changed that.
On September 28, Ship 41 reached orbit for the first time, despite an early Raptor engine shutdown. SpaceX then used another engine burn to complete orbital insertion.
At roughly 275 km above Earth, Starship deployed 26 Starlink V3 satellites—its first operational payload in orbit.
The flight ended early, but the milestone was enormous.
