♟I am happy to support Martha Fierro who is heading the wining team for the Confederation of Chess for the Americas (CCA). We have been together over the past weeks and understand the challenges the CCA federations are facing. More importantly, we have proven to them what we can do when we unite our efforts. Let’s continue to develop chess and bring in more people from all ages with different abilities and amplify the power of the federations through common efforts to improve and grow our favorite sport and hobby. Gordon and I will support their efforts in the Americas and give them all of our knowledge and resources to be able to empower all 42 federations there. Together, we share a common vision: to finally empower all federations of the Americas in the way they deserve - by listening to them, supporting them, and creating real opportunities for growth. Strong federations create a strong continent. And strong continents make FIDE stronger.
