i really didn’t want to make a public post about this, but i asked privately about a week ago for my work to stop being copied and have had to reach out multiple times across different platforms just to get this addressed. the website uses multiple elements extremely similar to mine and no, i’m not talking about simply having a “black page with a white box” like her “social media manager” keeps reducing it to. the glitch text, tv/static background, “online now,” color palette, and other page elements/assets were similar enough that multiple other creators recognized my site in it too. all i wanted was for it to be changed. instead, after trying to handle it privately for a week, i got paragraphs from her manager calling me “tripping,” telling me how “basic” my website is, and saying they find it hard to believe i spent much time making it. mind you, after all of that, they’ve now said the website WILL be changed. i’m attaching the side by side video so everyone can look at it and form their own opinion. obviously i don’t own glitch effects, static, or the colors black and white. my issue is the amount of specific similarities all appearing together and then how unnecessarily rude and dismissive they were when i tried resolving it privately. i gave them a week and multiple opportunities to handle this without making it public. anyway, here are the receipts!
