Anyone citing the Lancet study to claim Elon killed 14 million people (or any other ridiculous number) should just be laughed at.
The study models a deliberately absurd scenario and it does so with incorrect inputs to the model.
The scenario did not come true. Stop citing it!

This is correct, and it is also why people promoting diets that increase endogenous GLP-1 are full of it.
As other people have noted, the hormone GLP-1 itself is absolutely shredded by the kidneys and liver. According to Wikipedia, it has an active half-life of about two minutes. The research project at the time was unable to solve that issue, which is *really hard*.

How am I only finding out now that the "caloric restriction extends lifespan" thing is not real??
Turns out it's largely a "regression to the mean" effect from using inbred, short-lived research animals. In outbred rhesus monkeys, CR offers ~zero benefit to lifespan.
