A GUY'S NOTE-TAKING SETUP CAUGHT HIM BELIEVING TWO OPPOSITE THINGS AT ONCE the setup is simple. claude code pointed at an obsidian vault, one folder where you dump raw notes, one where claude writes them into a linked wiki. every answer it gives gets saved back, so the thing compounds that's the part everyone will show you. it's not the interesting part the interesting part runs once a week. claude scans the whole vault looking for notes that disagree with each other. it found one: a note saying "work in 90-minute blocks" sitting next to another saying "4-hour sessions for real depth". it flagged the conflict and made him pick forgetting was never the real problem. holding two opposite beliefs for years without noticing is your actual brain is happy to keep contradictions forever. it files them in different drawers and never opens both at once. this thing opens both a second brain that only remembers is a hoarder. the one worth building is the one that catches you being wrong
